Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Bale (ranked 997 p4p, 151 weight class) and Devil Anse Hatfield (ranked 1668 p4p, 219 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Bale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Devil Anse Hatfield!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bale throws a hook but Hatfield avoids it easily.

Oooooh!!! Bale has knocked Hatfield down with a huge combo! Bale steps away and waves a wobbly Hatfield back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


It looks like Devil Anse Hatfield has been cut.
Bale fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hatfield manages to avoid it.
Hatfield wants to counter with a clinch but Bale pushes him away.
Bale rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hatfield moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bale feints and then cracks Hatfield's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hatfield down.
Bale takes a swing at Hatfield's ribcage but misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hatfield bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

We've been hearing good reports from Bale's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Bale throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Hatfield tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bale manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Hatfield counters with a three punch combo that has Bale backing up. Bale nods at Hatfield to acknowledge the strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bale clobbers Hatfield with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Tony Bale has been cut.

Hatfield forces Bale back against the cage and clinches.
A nice right hand lands inside from Bale.

Hatfield breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bale scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Bale gets tackled into the cage by Hatfield. Hatfield maintains the clinch.

Bale throws a front kick that sends Hatfield stumbling back into the cage.
A nice inside leg kick there by Bale. That's going to slow Hatfield down.
A left lands for Bale.
Bale rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hatfield moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Despite the aggression on Hatfield's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Bale wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Bale throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hatfield on the side of the head.
Bale jabs Hatfield to the body, keeping him at a distance.

And that's the end of the fight!

Tony Bale decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
