The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fujimoto lands a slapping body shot.

Fujimoto closes the distance and pushes Ali back into the cage.

Fujimoto's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gyukosho Fujimoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fujimoto misses with a few strikes there.
Ali looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fujimoto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ali moves away.
Ali takes one to the chin there.

Fujimoto rushes Ali and presses him up against the cage.
Ali misses with a punch to the body.
Fujimoto manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Ali jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fujimoto walks away with a smile on his face. Ali gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Ali misses with a leg kick.
Fujimoto throws a right hand that Ali ducks under and follows up with a left that Ali also avoids with ease.
Fujimoto looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ali shoots in for a takedown but Fujimoto shows good takedown defense.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fujimoto clinches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fujimoto misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Ali goes for a takedown in the clinch but Fujimoto prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Muhammad Ali. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fujimoto misses with some punches.
Fujimoto should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Ali prevents a body shot from Fujimoto.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Fujimoto.
Fujimoto works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Fujimoto prevents a takedown attempt there.

Fujimoto breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ali looks to clinch
and Fujimoto counters with a stiff right hand.
Nice uppercut there from Fujimoto.


It looks like Muhammad Ali has been cut.

Fujimoto darts in and clinches Ali up against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Fujimoto fails to land.

Fujimoto pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Fujimoto has Ali up against the cage in a clinch.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Fujimoto.
Fujimoto struggles to land a body shot inside as Ali controls his hands.
Ali tries to break free but Fujimoto pushes him back against the cage.
Fujimoto gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ali.
Fujimoto lands with a short shot to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fujimoto doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Fujimoto swings wildly with an uppercut but Ali uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fujimoto gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ali.
Fujimoto throws a head punch that misses.

Ali jumps guard but Fujimoto turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Fujimoto tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Ali's elbow.
Fujimoto lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ali backwards.
Fujimoto lands a right hand.

Fujimoto escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ali throws a left and a right that both miss

and Fujimoto counters with a head kick that drops Ali to the mat! Ali scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!


Ali is rocked!
Fujimoto scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Ali is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fujimoto feints a jab and as Ali dips his head, Fujimoto unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Ali right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Ali falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Fujimoto smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Gyukosho Fujimoto!
