Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamza forces Max back against the cage and clinches.
Hamza works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hamza pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Max is keeping the position for now.
Max looking for a guillotine here but Hamza defends easily.
Hamza is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Max can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hamza controls the pace.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Hamza dives in and grabs Max's left leg, looking for a takedown. Max pushes down on Hamza 's head and hops out.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hamza closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Max tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hamza avoids it.
Max stalling in the clinch but Hamza improves position.
Hamza blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Max wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Max changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hamza fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Max tries for a takedown but Hamza manages to get underhooks.
Max is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Hamza breaks from the clinch.

Max is looking to counter the offense by Hamza and move into the clinch.
Hamza throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Max's waist but Max gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hamza off to one side.

Max throws a sloppy head kick and Hamza moves out of range easily.
Hamza avoids the body shot from Max.
Hamza shoots in looking for a takedown but Max manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hamza 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Hamza breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Max swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Max could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hamza misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hamza .
Max half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

and Hamza counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hamza stuffs the takedown.
Hamza moves into range and clinches up with Max.
Hamza misses with a knee to the head.
Hamza successfully pulls guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hamza can do anything to dispel that myth.
Hamza looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryat Hamza dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Max tries to keep at a distance but Hamza has taken the fight into the clinch.

Hamza 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Max fails in his attempt to clinch.

Max fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Hamza defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Max.
Hamza cracks Max with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hamza has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Max to stand back up!
Max is rocked!
It looks like Power Max has been cut.
Ryat Hamza seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hamza closes the distance looking for a takedown. Hamza picks Max up and slams him brutally to the floor. Max is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!
