The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

James takes the fight into the clinch.
James looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Bitetti tries to pull guard but James holds him up against the cage and eventually Bitetti drops back down to his feet.

James has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bitetti clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

We've been hearing good reports from Bitetti's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Bitetti is looking for a sweep. James is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

James is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bitetti is just riding it out for now. James eventually gives up the hold.

James is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bitetti doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time James.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
