The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fujiwara closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jong Trumputinun did well to prevent Fujiwara getting side control.
Jong Trumputinun looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Fujiwara is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Fujiwara's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fujiwara seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jong Trumputinun for as long as he can get away with.
If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Fujiwara is stinking the place up with his stalling.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Fujiwara uses his free foot to push down on Jong Trumputinun's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jong Trumputinun.
