Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Momochi Hanzo (ranked 1715 p4p, 237 weight class) and Comanche Todd (ranked 4240 p4p, 481 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanzo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Todd was well out of range. Poor timing from Hanzo.
Hanzo lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Todd misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hanzo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Todd connects with a crisp jab.
Hanzo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hanzo tries to move into range but Todd moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Hanzo swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Todd.

Todd dips to his left and cracks Hanzo with an uppercut!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Comanche Todd is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Comanche Todd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hanzo pushes Todd back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Hanzo manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Hanzo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Todd tries to free his leg and advance position but Hanzo is retaining full guard.

Todd arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Hanzo's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
