Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Distacio Jr (ranked 1579 p4p, 212 weight class) and Kevin Space (ranked 2018 p4p, 268 weight class). Distacio Jr's entrance music is Red - Darkest Part. A fine choice. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Distacio Jr is looking to clinch.

Space fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Distacio Jr to the ground. Space is now in Distacio Jr's guard.

Space thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Space is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Distacio Jr is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Distacio Jr has escaped and now he's on top!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Distacio Jr got a little sloppy there for a moment and Space has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Distacio Jr has managed to get both his arms back between Space's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Distacio Jr tries to free his leg and advance position but Space is retaining full guard.

Our spies down at at London MMA Club inform us that Space has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Space has his foot on Distacio Jr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Distacio Jr works his way back into a safe position though.
