Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kaine Krause!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buster Hively!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krause works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hively avoids the body shot from Krause.
Krause tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hively was well out of range. Poor timing from Krause.
Hively lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Krause backs up against the ropes.
Krause throws an overhand right that lands on Hively's shoulder, as Hively tries to avoid the shot.
Hively throws a body kick that misses
and Krause counters with a nice uppercut.
Hively scores with a leg kick.
A low kick from Hively is predictable there
and Krause counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Krause throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hively on the side of the head.
Hively misses with a hook.
Hively throws a hook but Krause blocks it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hively lands a nice shot that snaps Krause's head back.
Hively smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Krause wants to slow Hively down by chopping away at his legs.

Krause throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hively is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Hively takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Krause throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hively sees it coming and avoids it easily.

A nice inside leg kick there by Hively. That's going to slow Krause down.

and Krause counters by clinching up.
Krause has Hively pressed against the ropes, preventing Hively from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Krause lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hively backwards.
Krause makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Hively is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hively lands with a left to the head.
Krause lands a right hand that snaps the head of Hively backwards.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hively tries to circle away but Krause has him pinned against the ropes.

Krause gets through Hively's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Krause lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hively backwards.

Krause keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hively's efforts to push away.
A frustrated look appears on Hively's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Krause pushes Hively back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kaine Krause dominated that round.

Krause's corner calls for a 1-2. Krause obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

As Hively tries to get set, Krause tries to push him back and clinch up but Hively manages to avoid the attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hively can't find room to land a body shot as Krause controls the action.
Hively tries to circle away but Krause has him pinned against the ropes.

Krause digs a right hand into Hively's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Hively's gas tank.
A frustrated look appears on Hively's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Hively wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Hively's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Hively wants to get back to striking at distance but Krause won't allow it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Krause breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Hively with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Hively looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Hively get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? No, he's flopped back to the mat - he's out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Kaine Krause!
In defeat, Buster Hively stepped up to the mic, saying 'I was distracted by the other guys really long nose hairs and just couldnt keep my focus....'.
