The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Diaz obliges.
Diaz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Diaz scores with a decent looking hook.
A left lands for Diaz.
Diaz throws a series of strikes that have Beck backpedaling.
Beck closes the distance and clinches.
Beck jumps guard.
Diaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Beck swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Beck could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Diaz stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Beck throws up his legs and catches Diaz in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Diaz tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Beck! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Luther Beck!
