Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between August Casque (ranked 24277 p4p, 599 weight class) and Ricardo Alvarez (ranked 2744 p4p, 266 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Casque stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Casque wants it to stay on the feet.
Alvarez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Casque's waist but Casque gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alvarez off to one side.
Casque throws a big counter combination but Alvarez scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Alvarez looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Alvarez maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Casque could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Alvarez has cracked it and Casque is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Alvarez!
