The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ponce misses with a low kick as Rodd jumps back.
Rodd tried to counter with a leg kick but Ponce avoided it.
Ponce jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rodd looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Jean Ponce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ponce lands a big uppercut and Rodd crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rodd looks OK. Ponce waves Rodd back to his feet!
Rodd is rocked!
It looks like Todd Rodd has been cut.
Ponce throws a pinpoint strike between Rodd's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Rodd crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Ponce scores a great knockout victory!
