Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul McCann (ranked 1314 p4p, 142 weight class) and Ahsan Hamed (ranked 1392 p4p, 148 weight class). Hamed has chosen Ahmed's Theme as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCann checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
McCann wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Ahsan Hamed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCann misses with a straight left.
McCann moves out of range as Hamed strikes.
A head kick misses from Hamed.
Hamed looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
McCann blocks the body kick.
Hamed uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Hamed jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hamed uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McCann.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McCann throws a series of punches but Hamed avoids them all with ease.
Hamed lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Good leg kick by Hamed there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
McCann moves out of range as Hamed throws a body kick.
A big right from Hamed misses.
McCann dodges the punch combination from Hamed.
McCann was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
McCann looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
McCann on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hamed. Hamed obviously looking to wear him down.
Hamed lands a nice leg kick that just misses McCann's sensitive parts.
Hamed connects with the punch.
Hamed sizes up McCann with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
McCann walks into a stiff left hand from Hamed.
Hamed is looking to chop away at McCann's legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hamed gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Hamed throws out a leg kick but McCann moves out of range and Hamed only half commits.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McCann throws the left hand but Hamed avoids the punch easily.
It seemed like Hamed was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
McCann closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Hamed throws a lazy head kick
letting McCann counter with a right hand.
Hamed connects with a nice looking jab.
Hamed feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to McCann's calf.
Hamed ducks under a wild hook from McCann.
Hamed blocks a jab.
Hamed throws a body kick that misses
and McCann counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
McCann works the jab nicely.
A head kick by Hamed misses
and McCann counters with a big right hand! Oh Hamed is in trouble here! McCann follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
