The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaFlare moves in looking to clinch but Benson pushes him off.

and Benson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

LaFlare slips under a jab.
LaFlare is looking to counter the offense by Benson and move into the clinch.
Benson digs a good body shot into LaFlare's ribs.
LaFlare is breathing heavily.
Benson ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Benson misses with a hook. LaFlare ducked under it nicely.
Benson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Benson connects with a body shot that sends LaFlare's belly button to the back.
Tom LaFlare seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Benson drops LaFlare with a beautiful combination! LaFlare stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Benson is looking for the KO!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oh LaFlare is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
LaFlare definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
LaFlare could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Benson feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending LaFlare crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
