Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Murhaa (ranked 7544 p4p, 655 weight class) and Dude Yu (ranked 5721 p4p, 577 weight class). Mike Murhaa had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 266.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murhaa swings for the body but Yu moves out of range.
Yu doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Yu looks to score with a jab to the body but Murhaa is just out of range.
Murhaa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Murhaa swings for the body but Yu moves out of range.
Murhaa with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Yu to score with a decent uppercut.
Murhaa moves forwards but Yu connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like Mike Murhaa has been cut.

and Yu counters with a crisp right hand that drops Murhaa! Yu lets Murhaa back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Dude Yu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oh Murhaa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Murhaa seems to have got his legs back now.
Yu lands a nice hook to Murhaa's body. Murhaa takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Yu cracks Murhaa's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Murhaa slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Yu can do further damage! This one is done, son!
