Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cedrick Callahan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marston Roberts!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Callahan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Roberts manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Roberts shoots in and gets a takedown into Callahan's guard.

Callahan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Roberts doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Roberts manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Roberts passes into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roberts stands up and beckons Callahan to join him on the feet.
Callahan closes the distance and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Callahan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A nice left hand lands by Callahan.
Callahan lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Roberts manages to break the clinch.
Roberts comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Roberts throws a wild body kick that Callahan sees coming a mile off.
Roberts closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
A big shot lands for Roberts! That's hurt Callahan! Will he recover? Roberts fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
