The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pugberg throws an overhand right that lands on Crew's shoulder, as Crew tries to avoid the shot.

and Crew counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Crew forces his way into half guard.
Crew wants to free his trapped foot but Pugberg is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Crew has control of Pugberg's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Pugberg regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Pugberg defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Crew.

Pugberg is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Crew is aware though and is defending well.

Pugberg escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Crew gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Pugberg has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Crew doesn't defend quickly enough and Pugberg has managed to lock this one up! Can Crew escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Pugberg on a fantastic submission victory.
