PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Diego Escobar (ranked 2235 p4p, 224 weight class) and Tamagoshi Yoshi (ranked 2863 p4p, 285 weight class). Yoshi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bushido. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tamagoshi Yoshi!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshi throws a series of punches but Escobar avoids them all with ease.

I was talking to Escobar's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Diego Escobar will probably get the nod.

Escobar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Yoshi's guard.

Well Escobar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
