Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Monroe Miranda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Snow!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, David Schapiro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Miranda or perhaps it was just good defense by Snow, which made it look bad.
Miranda closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Monroe Miranda has been cut.
Snow misses the jab.
John Snow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miranda takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Snow ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Snow clinches.
Snow manages to break the clinch.
Miranda throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Snow's waist but Snow gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Miranda off to one side.
Miranda misses with a takedown
and Snow counters with a huge left! Miranda is in big trouble! He's backing up but Snow isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Miranda from any more damage. A dominating finish by Snow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Snow!
John Snow tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
