Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Papy Abedi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Second Fist!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fist takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Abedi takes one to the chin there.

It looks like Papy Abedi has been cut.

Abedi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Abedi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fist avoids it really well and circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Abedi is pushing down on Fist's leg trying to pass to half guard. Fist is fighting to maintain full guard but Abedi has managed to sneak the leg through.

Abedi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fist is just riding it out for now. Abedi eventually gives up the hold.

Abedi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Fist has his foot on Abedi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Abedi works his way back into a safe position though.

Fist breaks the clinch.
Second Fist is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fist paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Fist displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Abedi throws out the jab.
Fist stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fist wants it to stay on the feet.

Abedi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fist but Fist pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Abedi lands with a nice body punch.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Fist lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Abedi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Abedi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Abedi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Fist's head backwards.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
