Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerry Kelly (ranked 111 p4p, 12 weight class) and Erland Eliasson (ranked 492 p4p, 69 weight class). Eliasson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Radioactive - Imagine Dragons. On his way into the cage it seems that Gerry Kelly has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Gerry Kelly seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Kelly bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Kelly bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Eliasson! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Kelly would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Kelly has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

That has opened up Erland Eliasson's cut even more.
Gerry Kelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Kelly throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Eliasson appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Eliasson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kelly doesn't seem bothered though.

Kelly throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Eliasson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kelly circles away quickly and effectively.
Kelly is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Eliasson.
Kelly thuds his right hand into Eliasson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Kelly fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Eliasson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Nice uppercut there from Kelly.
A telegraphed right hand from Eliasson misses the target.

The cut above Erland Eliasson's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Kelly lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kelly tries to close the distance and clinch but Eliasson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kelly throws a head kick that misses.
Eliasson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Kelly lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Eliasson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kelly paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Eliasson is still on wobbly legs! Can Kelly finish him?
Kelly loads up on a big right hand but Eliasson slips the punch.
Eliasson seems to have recovered his senses.

Eliasson ducks straight into an uppercut from Kelly and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Eliasson manages to regain guard straight away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eliasson throws a combination. Kelly tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Kelly throws a left that rocks Eliasson and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Kelly dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Eliasson regain composure!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Eliasson tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Kelly easily slips into full mount!

Kelly gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Erland Eliasson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Kelly connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Eliasson momentarily.
Kelly is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Eliasson can do to turn this around?

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Eliasson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Kelly cracks Eliasson's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Eliasson slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Kelly can do further damage! This one is done, son!

A relieved looking Gerry Kelly thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
