Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mako Takaziko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Paulo Aguiar!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aguiar takes a kick to the side of the head.

Aguiar feints and as Takaziko raises his hands in defense, Aguiar changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Aguiar looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Takaziko is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Aguiar is controlling him.
Takaziko wants to sweep here but Aguiar controlling him for the moment.

Takaziko looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Aguiar passes into half guard.
Takaziko is looking to control Aguiar's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Takaziko avoid being mounted?
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aguiar lands strikes from half guard.
Aguiar slips a nice elbow through Takaziko's hands, connecting with Takaziko's forehead.
Aguiar scoring with strikes to the body and head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Aguiar working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Aguiar looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Takaziko is rocked!
Takaziko is trying to control but can't.
Aguiar content to control rather than advance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Oh Takaziko is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Aguiar working Takaziko over with strikes.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Aguiar lands a nice short elbow.
Nice strikes from Aguiar there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Takaziko wants to get back to his feet.
Aguiar scores with a big shot! Takaziko's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Takaziko! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paulo Aguiar!
Paulo Aguiar seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Mako Takaziko was interviewed post fight and said 'Sorry About My Loss Fans'.
