Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Obelix De Gaul (ranked 14 p4p, 1 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 55 p4p, 2 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think De Gaul might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Asterix and Obelix. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Gaul fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
De Gaul blocks a jab.
De Gaul tries a head kick but it misses.
Slice throws out a counter right but De Gaul avoids it with no problem.
De Gaul looks for the body kick but Slice saw that one coming.
Slice has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Slice there as he acknowledges the shot.
Slice throws a body shot but no joy.
Slice misses with a looping right.
De Gaul throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Slice counters with an outside leg kick.
De Gaul just misses with a punch to the body.
And Slice responds with a good body kick, but De Gaul manages to step out the way in time.

De Gaul displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Slice throws out the jab.
De Gaul fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Slice manages to avoid it.

De Gaul misses with some punches.

De Gaul lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Slice breaks from the clinch.
De Gaul cracks Slice with a right hand to the side of the head.
De Gaul misses with a body kick.
De Gaul throws a lazy body kick
and Slice cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
De Gaul fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Slice manages to avoid it.
Slice moves out of range of the body kick.
Slice looks to land a left hand but De Gaul moved out of range nicely.
Slice lands with a good body shot.
Slice takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Slice tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but De Gaul was well out of range. Poor timing from Slice.
De Gaul takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Slice keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Slice misses with a looping left.
De Gaul gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Obelix De Gaul has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Slice moves out of range of the strikes.

Obelix De Gaul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De Gaul bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

De Gaul throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Slice walks into a stiff left hand from De Gaul.
Slice misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from De Gaul.

De Gaul closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Slice avoids a kick to the body.
Slice lands with a right hand.

Slice moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

And Slice responds with a good body kick, but De Gaul manages to step out the way in time.

Slice lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
A looping hook to the body misses from De Gaul. Slice does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Slice counters with a straight right hand.
Slice fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. De Gaul looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
De Gaul is breathing heavily.
Slice throws a half hearted mid kick.
De Gaul was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

and Slice counters with a lovely straight right hand!
De Gaul is looking to wear down Slice with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
De Gaul tries to clinch but Slice moves away
and Slice makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Slice ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Slice has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Slice fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops De Gaul to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! De Gaul looks to clinch but Slice throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! De Gaul taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Kimbo Slice really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Free Bands inc. logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
