Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Luzhin (ranked 394 p4p, 57 weight class) and Jeremy Sullivan (ranked 682 p4p, 112 weight class). Luzhin comes to the cage accompanied by The time has come.... Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

28 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeremy Sullivan!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan doesn't manage to clinch there - Luzhin circles away.
Luzhin connects with a body shot that sends Sullivan's belly button to the back.
Luzhin ducks under a wild hook from Sullivan.
A counter left hand to the body from Luzhin misses its target.
Luzhin misses with a hook.
Luzhin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sullivan forces Luzhin back against the cage and clinches.
Sullivan successfully pulls guard.
Luzhin has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Sullivan looking for subs off his back but Luzhin has passed one foot through into half guard.
Sullivan moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sullivan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Luzhin trying to control but Sullivan is working from the bottom.
Sullivan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Luzhin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Luzhin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sullivan looking for a sweep. Not yet Sullivan, not yet.
Luzhin is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Sullivan has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Luzhin is looking to defend but Sullivan has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Luzhin! Sullivan pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Luzhin taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jeremy Sullivan!
A determined Jeremy Sullivan didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
