The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goodwin misses with a looping left.
Goodwin swings for the body but Hare moves out of range.
Hare throws a series of punches but Goodwin avoids them all with ease.
Goodwin lands a body shot.
Goodwin ducks under a wild hook from Hare.
Hare getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Goodwin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hare moves away.
A jab from Hare misses.
Hare sets himself, and Goodwin steps forward looking for the clinch! Hare avoids it this time.
Hare scores with a one two! Goodwin had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Goodwin keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Hare looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Goodwin misses with a jab to the body
and Hare counters with a three punch combo that has Goodwin backing up. Goodwin nods at Hare to acknowledge the strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hare scoring well with a low kick there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Goodwin throws a body shot but no joy.
Goodwin staying out of range there.
Hare takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Goodwin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hare.
Goodwin slips a straight right by Hare.
Goodwin avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hare sets himself, and Goodwin steps forward looking for the clinch! Hare avoids it this time.
Goodwin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hare throws out the jab.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hare.
Hare works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Goodwin is rocked!
Hare lands a brutal uppercut that launches Goodwin off his feet! Goodwin tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Peter Hare!
