Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Toshi Matoshin (ranked 3040 p4p, 299 weight class) and Kabu Loso (ranked 13684 p4p, 626 weight class). Matoshin's entrance music is Mortal Kombat theme. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 50 - 29 - 3, fighting out of Amsterdam, Toshi Matoshin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kabu Loso!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loso throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Matoshin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Loso has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Matoshin moves out of range as Loso strikes.
No joy there for Matoshin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Matoshin has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Loso.
Loso lands a leg kick that knocks Matoshin off balance momentarily.

Loso looks to land a left hand but Matoshin moved out of range nicely.
Matoshin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Loso's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Matoshin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Loso scrambles back to his feet.

Loso throws out a loose jab but Matoshin uses good head movement to avoid it.
A little feinted left hand from Matoshin on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

That was a close round but I would say that Toshi Matoshin will probably get the nod.

That was a close second round but I would say that Toshi Matoshin will probably get the nod.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Loso lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Matoshin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Matoshin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Toshi Matoshin.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Matoshin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
