The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez is looking to chop away at Skywalker's legs.
Skywalker appears to be looking for a big counter.
Frank Martinez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Skywalker swats away the attempt to clinch by Martinez.
Martinez moves into the clinch.
Skywalker wants a takedown but no success here.
Martinez gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Skywalker pushes Martinez off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Skywalker gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Martinez to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
