The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Samaritan shoots in and bounces Cartman off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Samaritan trying to control but Cartman is working from the bottom.

Cartman throws his legs up looking for a submission but Samaritan uses it to pass to side control.
Cartman is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Samaritan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Samaritan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Samaritan scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Cartman is staying active underneath Samaritan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cartman wants to improve his position but Samaritan is controlling well.

Samaritan moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Cartman.
Cartman manages to work his way to half guard, despite Samaritan's best efforts.

Samaritan is working for a kimura but Cartman is defending it quite comfortably.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Samaritan connects with a nice short shot to Cartman's temple.

Cartman is rocked!
Samaritan is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Cartman is hurt! He's hurt bad - Samaritan fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Cartman from any more punishment! Congratulations to Samaritan! Great finish!
