Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Taylor (ranked 21887 p4p, 759 weight class) and Sumo Jo (ranked 4780 p4p, 547 weight class). The key to victory for Jason Taylor has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Taylor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sumo Jo!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor scores with a head kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
I really don't envy Taylor right now.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Jo gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Jo apologises and we restart here on the feet.
