Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Bone (ranked 2555 p4p, 360 weight class) and Andrei Zharkov (ranked 940 p4p, 150 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bone might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to You'll Never Walk Alone. On his way into the cage it seems that Joe Bone has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Joe Bone seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zharkov walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Zharkov moves away from the strike by Bone.
Bone jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Zharkov pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bone back to the cage. Zharkov follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Joe Bone has been cut.
A big left from Zharkov misses.
Zharkov avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Zharkov misses with a low kick as Bone jumps back.
Bone feints and then cracks Zharkov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Zharkov down.
Zharkov missing with a left hand there. Bone was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Zharkov throws an off balance right hand
enabling Bone to counter with a crisp jab.
Zharkov misses with a low kick.
Bone swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Zharkov jabs Bone to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Bone keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Zharkov.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bone looks to score with a jab to the body but Zharkov is just out of range.
Zharkov is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Zharkov on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Bone counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bone takes the fight into the clinch.

Bone lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Zharkov or not.
Bone gets through Zharkov's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Zharkov has Bone pressed against the cage.
Zharkov lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bone backwards.
Zharkov is trying to break the clinch but Bone has him pressed against the cage.
Zharkov lands an elbow that stopped Bone in his tracks for a moment.

Zharkov has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bone avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Zharkov's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Zharkov is trying to maintain a safe position but Bone gets an underhook and turns Zharkov into the cage.
Bone blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Zharkov drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bone gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Bone lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Zharkov backwards.
Zharkov throws an elbow but it misses.
Bone breaks from the clinch.

Zharkov walks into a stiff left hand from Bone.
Zharkov is still on wobbly legs! Can Bone finish him?
Bone scoring well with a low kick there.
Bone darts in and clinches Zharkov up against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Bone.
Zharkov has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Bone seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Zharkov can turn it around.
Zharkov throws a punch but it's blocked by Bone.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Bone.
Bone makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Zharkov blocks an uppercut.
Bone dips a shoulder and cracks Zharkov with a mighty uppercut! Zharkov falls back against the cage and Bone unloads with a barrage of strikes! Zharkov is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Bone screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Bone!
A very excited looking Joe Bone made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
