Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Monroe (ranked 1753 p4p, 194 weight class) and Bostar Tyraanicao (ranked 1566 p4p, 175 weight class). Monroe comes to the cage accompanied by Deep Ocean - Island drumming. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyraanicao gets caught flat footed, as Monroe shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Monroe throws a big right hand that misses.
Tyraanicao has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Crassus. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Tyraanicao is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Monroe avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Monroe stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Tyraanicao has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Monroe manages to get his head free but now Tyraanicao has transitioned to an armbar! Monroe grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Tyraanicao! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
