The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cena scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Parrish wants to control but Cena postures up.
Cena lands a decent elbow from side control.
Parrish really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cena decides to stand up, so the ref orders Parrish to his feet.
Cena misses with a double jab.

Cena forces Parrish back against the cage and clinches.

Cena breaks the clinch.

Parrish drives through and clinches with Cena against the cage.
Cena throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Parrish blocks it with crossed arms.

Cena manages to pull guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Parrish working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cena's head.

Parrish postures up in Cena's guard and throws a big left but Cena blocks it.
Cena wants to sweep but no luck.

Cena scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Parrish manages to mount him!

Parrish connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Cena tries to improve his position but instead Parrish has taken his back!

Cena is trying to defend against the choke here but Parrish has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Parrish Tightens the hold and Cena taps out furiously! Parrish displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
