Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexei Chernokov (ranked 1377 p4p, 146 weight class) and Alejandro Sepulveda (ranked 1272 p4p, 133 weight class). Chernokov comes to the cage accompanied by Disaster strikes - Mushroom cloud. The crowd seem to be enjoying Sepulveda's choice of entrance music: Llorando se Fue. Alexei Chernokov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Alejandro Sepulveda's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Alexei Chernokov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Alejandro Sepulveda!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chernokov misses with a looping right.
Sepulveda moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Chernokov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Alejandro Sepulveda showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Chernokov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sepulveda's waist but Sepulveda gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chernokov off to one side.

Sepulveda has closed the distance and engaged Chernokov in a clinch.

Sepulveda has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Chernokov regains guard immediately.

Sepulveda has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chernokov is working away from the top position though.

I would just about give that final round to Alejandro Sepulveda.
I think Sepulveda has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
