Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mikael Joshua!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooh!!! Joshua has knocked Davis down with a huge combo! Joshua steps away and waves a wobbly Davis back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Leighton Davis has been cut.
Leighton Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davis throws a hook but Joshua blocks it.
Davis misses with a hook
and Joshua counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Davis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Joshua scores with a nice strike.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Joshua's jab looks to have found its range, popping Davis under the eye.
Joshua ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Davis definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Joshua connects with a body shot.
Davis throws out a loose jab but Joshua uses good head movement to avoid it.
Joshua digs a good body shot into Davis's ribs.
Davis misses with a left hand
and Joshua counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Joshua connects with the punch.
Joshua lands with an uppercut that bounces Davis off the ropes and back into range.
Joshua jabs Davis to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Davis is breathing heavily.
Davis gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Joshua gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Davis is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mikael Joshua!
