Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sweyn Forkbeard (ranked 3788 p4p, 411 weight class) and Simbo Klice (ranked 3543 p4p, 391 weight class). Klice has chosen THE D.O.C. - it's funky enough as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Simbo Klice is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Forkbeard catches Klice right on the button with a cross.
Forkbeard fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Forkbeard throws a body shot but no joy.
Klice uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Forkbeard.
Good exchange - Forkbeard coming out on top.
Forkbeard lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Forkbeard looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sweyn Forkbeard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Forkbeard throws a body shot but no joy.
Klice feints the counter takedown.

Klice doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Forkbeard throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Klice misses with an uppercut.

Forkbeard moves into the clinch successfully.

Forkbeard works on Klice's body with a couple of short punches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Forkbeard lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Klice backwards.

Klice wants to take the fight to the mat but Forkbeard manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Forkbeard lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Klice backwards.

Forkbeard tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Klice's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A decent looking cross lands there for Forkbeard.

It looks like Simbo Klice has been cut.

Klice tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Forkbeard was well out of range. Poor timing from Klice.
Klice displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Forkbeard throws out the jab.
Klice has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Klice uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Forkbeard.
Klice's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Forkbeard connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Klice scrambles back to his feet.
Forkbeard misses with a left hand
and Klice counters with a lovely straight right hand!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Forkbeard connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Klice momentarily.

Klice is rocked!
Forkbeard connects with a superb combination that knocks Klice out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Forkbeard before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Klice!
