Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fidel Puno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johann Schwartz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Schwartz or perhaps it was just good defense by Puno which made him look bad.
Schwartz closes the distance and clinches up with Puno, looking for a takedown. Schwartz pushes Puno against the cage but Puno circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Puno looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Schwartz shoots in looking for a takedown. Puno tries to sprawl out of it but Schwartz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Puno manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Schwartz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Puno pinned against the cage. Puno gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Schwartz swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Puno is now in Schwartz's guard. A big mistake from Schwartz there, giving up the dominant position!

Puno would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Puno seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Schwartz is staying active underneath Puno, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Puno is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Fidel Puno will probably get the nod.
