Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tung Fo (ranked 1103 p4p, 167 weight class) and Cam Newton (ranked 962 p4p, 142 weight class). Newton has chosen Superman as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tung Fo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cam Newton!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Newton.
Fo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Newton is fending him off so far but Fo persists. Nope, Newton circles away and we're back to standing.
Newton lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Newton has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Fo is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Fo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Fo fails with a takedown attempt.
Fo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Newton finds it's way round the side to connect with Fo's head.
Fo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Newton avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tung Fo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Newton ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Tung Fo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fo keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Newton.
Fo shoots for a takedown but Newton saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Fo moves into the clinch.

Newton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fo moves in looking to clinch but Newton pushes him off.
Fo fails with the takedown

and Newton counters with a nice right hand that sends Fo toppling to the canvas! Fo scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Newton finish him?!

It looks like Tung Fo has been cut.
Fo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Newton throws a series of punches but Fo moves out of range.
Newton misses with a few strikes there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Newton swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Newton throws a lazy right hand but Fo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Newton throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Fo needs to keep his hands up - Newton had a free shot at his head there.
Cam Newton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Newton misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fo misses with a takedown attempt
and Newton counters with a big right hand! Oh Fo is in trouble here! Newton follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

In his post fight interview, Cam Newton started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
