Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Steamboat (ranked 953 p4p, 128 weight class) and Gustaf Stenbeck (ranked 1409 p4p, 183 weight class). Steamboat comes to the cage accompanied by Migos- Bad and Bouje . Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Stenbeck catches Steamboat right on the button with a cross.
Stenbeck throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Steamboat takes a kick to the side of the head.
Stenbeck thuds his shin into the meat of Steamboat's side.
A decent looking cross lands there for Stenbeck.
Stenbeck throws a body shot but no joy.
Stenbeck lets loose with a powerful body kick. Steamboat will feel that in the morning.
Stenbeck dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Steamboat. That did some damage!

Steamboat shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Stenbeck is trying to defend but Steamboat finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Stenbeck has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Steamboat is on him like a limpet, forcing Stenbeck back against the cage.

Stenbeck feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Steamboats jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Steamboat shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stenbeck defends it nicely.
Oh Steamboat is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Steamboat looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Stenbeck thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Steamboat if he has to take too many more of those.

Steamboat isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Stenbeck stacks Steamboat on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Stenbeck!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Stenbeck tries to advance to mount but can't.

Steamboat shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stenbeck sprawls well. Stenbeck wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Steamboat gets slowly back to his feet.

Stenbeck lands with an uppercut that bounces Steamboat off the cage and back into range.
Steamboat shoots in looking for a takedown but Stenbeck manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Steamboat's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Steamboat dives in for a single leg takedown but Stenbeck sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Stenbeck was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Steamboat takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Stenbeck feints and then cracks Steamboat's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Steamboat down.
Ricky Steamboat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stenbeck lands a nice shot that snaps Steamboat's head back.

It looks like Ricky Steamboat has been cut.
Stenbeck connects with a solid leg kick.
Stenbeck throws a good cross that connects.

Stenbeck rushes Steamboat with punches - Steamboat moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Steamboat goes down! Stenbeck follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
