Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gee Gee Allen (ranked 1230 p4p, 187 weight class) and Eusebio Zapata (ranked 1680 p4p, 255 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Allen seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oh Allen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big right from Allen misses.
Zapata finds Allen's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Allen flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Zapata lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Allen will be OK.
