Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hone Huia (ranked 2285 p4p, 284 weight class) and Loki Aoki (ranked 3052 p4p, 363 weight class). Huia comes to the cage accompanied by Poi E - Patea Maori Club. Aoki is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: KAANCEPTS. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Huia fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Aoki to the ground. Huia is now in Aoki's guard.
Huia seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Aoki is looking to stand up but Huia isn't so interested in that idea.

Aoki is trying to stand up here but Huia is controlling him well.

Aoki manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position.
Huia lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Huia works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Huia connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Huia tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aoki paws at him with a jab and circles away.
As Huia backs off Aoki throws a huge counter combo but Huia manages to avoid it all.

It looks like Hone Huia has been cut.

Huia cracks Aoki with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Aoki falls to his knees and Huia doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
