Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quetzal Montezuma (ranked 1647 p4p, 198 weight class) and Gus McKenna (ranked 2060 p4p, 248 weight class). Montezuma's entrance music is The Mayan Predator. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKenna misses with a hook
and Montezuma counters with a stiff right hand.
McKenna tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Montezuma turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
McKenna motions for Montezuma to come forward. McKenna throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Montezuma lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
McKenna tries to score with a low kick but Montezuma moves his leg out of the way.
As McKenna backs away, Montezuma returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Montezuma thows a body kick. McKenna tries to catch it but that hurt him.
McKenna does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
McKenna misses with an uppercut. Montezuma saw that one coming.
McKenna keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McKenna misses with a hook. Montezuma ducked under it nicely.
McKenna punishes Montezuma's body with a nice straight punch.
McKenna loads up on a big right hand but Montezuma slips the punch.

McKenna swings widly with a right hand
and Montezuma makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Gus McKenna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Montezuma misses with a hook.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from McKenna! But no joy.
Montezuma slips a straight right by McKenna.
Montezuma cracks McKenna with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

It looks like Gus McKenna has been cut.
Montezuma misses with a low kick.
McKenna was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
A big right from McKenna misses.
A counter left hand to the body from Montezuma misses its target.
McKenna scores with a nice strike.
Montezuma ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Montezuma keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McKenna.
McKenna throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Montezuma thuds his right hand into McKenna's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Montezuma looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Montezuma darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Montezuma cracks McKenna with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! McKenna looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Montezuma finish him?

McKenna is rocked!
Montezuma flashes McKenna a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. McKenna's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. McKenna crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Montezuma punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
