PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ameri Khan (ranked 5299 p4p, 558 weight class) and Grirkul Noseflame (ranked 3589 p4p, 421 weight class). Noseflame has chosen Labrinth - Earthquake ft. Tinie Tempah as his entrance music. Grirkul Noseflame told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ameri Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Grirkul Noseflame!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Noseflame clinches up with Khan and pushes him back against the cage.
Khan is trying to pull guard but Noseflame turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Noseflame breaks from the clinch.
Noseflame cracks Khan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

It looks like Ameri Khan has been cut.
Khan misses with the body kick
and Noseflame counters with a nice body shot.
Khan is breathing heavily.
Noseflame lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Khan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Noseflame connects with a body shot.
Khan has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Khan there as he acknowledges the shot.

Khan is rocked!
Noseflame scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Noseflame throws a pinpoint strike between Khan's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Khan crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Noseflame scores a great knockout victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Grirkul Noseflame!
A very excited looking Grirkul Noseflame rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
