Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matsui Yamamoto (ranked 5977 p4p, 502 weight class) and Charlie Theron (ranked 6088 p4p, 510 weight class). Charlie Theron has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Matsui Yamamoto's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Theron shoots in looking for a takedown but Yamamoto manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Theron's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Yamamoto works over Theron's head and body with a nice combination.
Yamamoto misses with a low kick.
Theron shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yamamoto as he jumps to the side.
Yamamoto uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Theron.

Theron shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Yamamoto defends it nicely.
Matsui Yamamoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Theron.

Yamamoto is fighting to break Theron's control of his arms but Theron is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
