The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barca scores with a hook to the body. VeryHard takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hannibal Barca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
VeryHard takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Barca connects with a high kick.
Barca with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Barca changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Barca lands with an overhand left.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Barca, as that shot connected.
A left lands for Barca.
Barca cracks a nice hook into VeryHard's ribs.

A head kick from Barca lands but VeryHard takes it in his stride.

Barca connects with a body shot that sends VeryHard's belly button to the back.
Barca ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
VeryHard walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Barca digs a good body shot into VeryHard's ribs.
Barca lands with a straight right. VeryHard didn't see that one coming.
Barca is looking to wear down VeryHard with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

VeryHard closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

VeryHard walks forward, straight into a front kick from Barca.
Barca jabs VeryHard to the body, keeping him at a distance.

VeryHard on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Barca. Barca obviously looking to wear him down.
Barca pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces VeryHard back to the cage. Barca follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
VeryHard takes a jab right on the kisser.
VeryHard looks winded!
VeryHard takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Barca lands a shoulder strike.
Barca lands a hook to the side of the head.
VeryHard wants to take the fight to the mat but Barca manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
I was talking to Barca's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Barca prevents a takedown attempt there.
Barca lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
A short right from Barca on the inside.
Barca throws a blind hook that connects with the side of VeryHards head.
Barca lands a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Barca gets through VeryHard's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
VeryHard goes for a takedown in the clinch but Barca prevents it.
Hannibal Barca has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of YouWillDie VeryHard.

Barca lands with a short shot to the head.
Barca pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Good leg kick by Barca there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
