Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mbeki gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Simmons is looking to break free of the clinch but Mbeki has double underhooks.
Mbeki has clasped his hands together around Simmons's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mbeki stands up.
Mbeki misses with a combination
and Simmons holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Mbeki lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

No joy there for Mbeki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Simmons shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mbeki pinned against the cage. Mbeki gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mbeki tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Simmons was well out of range. Poor timing from Mbeki.
Simmons seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Mbeki misses with a few strikes there.
Mbeki is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Mbeki lands with a nice combination. Simmons backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Tyrone Simmons has been cut.
Mbeki misses with a left hand
and Simmons counters by moving into the clinch.
Mbeki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Simmons is rocked!
Mbeki lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Simmons falls backwards - clearly groggy! Mbeki dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
