Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cattan Engoria (ranked 3723 p4p, 70 weight class) and Naiki Nekele (ranked 2498 p4p, 52 weight class). Engoria comes to the cage accompanied by Run this town. Naiki Nekele will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Engoria with a poor takedown
and Nekele counters with a slapping leg kick.
A lazy left from Nekele finds it's target.
Engoria fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Nekele is out of range.
Nekele flicks out a counter leg kick but Engoria steps away.
Nekele checks the leg kick nicely there.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Engoria checks a leg kick.
Nekele takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Nekele throws out a leg kick but Engoria moves out of range and Nekele only half commits.
Nekele takes a swing at Engoria's ribcage but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Engoria throws a jab when Nekele was well out of range.
Engoria shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nekele pinned against the cage. Nekele gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nekele appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

and Nekele counters with a nice low kick that buckles Engoria's knee momentarily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cattan Engoria. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Engoria throws a leg kick that misses.
Nekele tries a quick counter leg kick but Engoria is wise to it.

and Nekele counters with a straight right hand.
Engoria walks into a straight right hand from Nekele.
Nekele lunges at Engoria with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Engoria's hand.

Engoria clinches with his opponent.

Nekele won't allow Engoria to sweep him here.

Engoria is looking for a triangle but Nekele pushes his legs off easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nekele wants to control from the top but Engoria keeps moving.
Nekele really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Engoria. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nekele stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Engoria swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Engoria is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Nekele rolls with it to try and escape but Engoria cranks on the arm and Nekele is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
