And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arnold Palmer!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Palmer is looking to clinch but Tubridy is avoiding it.
Palmer gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Tubridy.

Arnold Palmer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tubridy moves into the clinch successfully.

Tubridy connects with a good right hand that stumbles Palmer. Palmer circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Palmer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tubridy throwing a counter right hand but Palmer manages to avoid it.
Tubridy blocks a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Tubridy lands a body shot.
Tubridy scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Palmer moves out of range as Tubridy strikes.
Palmer throws a series of punches but Tubridy moves out of range.
Tubridy lands a nice shot that snaps Palmer's head back.
Tubridy throws a jab but it's blocked by Palmer.
Tubridy scores with a nice strike.

Tubridy clips Palmer with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Palmer a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.

Tubridy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Palmer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Palmer walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Palmer is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!

Ryan Tubridy decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
