Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Owen (ranked 2074 p4p, 286 weight class) and Donsone De (ranked 2615 p4p, 355 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Owen moves away.
Owen is looking to counter punch.
Owen misses with the combination.
De lands a right hook to the body.
De has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
De lands a glancing blow to the side of Owen's head.
Owen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says De as he avoids it easily.
De tries to land a front kick but Owen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Owen waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract De.
De throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A counter left hand to the body from Owen misses its target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Owen with a poor takedown
and Owen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
De lands a jab to Owen's midsection.
De throws a leg kick but Owen moved away.
De takes a swing at Owen's ribcage but misses.
Harry Owen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Owen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has De pinned against the cage. De gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

De uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Owen.
Owen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

De's corner calls for a 1-2. De obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

De wants to counter the offense by Owen and move into the clinch position.
Owen shoots in for a takedown but De shows good takedown defense.
Owen steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from De. That one must have hurt.
Owen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
De swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
De scores with a jab. Owen acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

De moves into range and connects with a jab.

De steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Owen.

De is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
De connects with a nice looking jab.
De throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
De keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

De misses with a low kick.
Owen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? De is fending him off so far but Owen persists. Nope, De circles away and we're back to standing.
A jab lands there for De.

Owen is rocked!
A looping hook to the body misses from Owen. De does a little dance to reset his feet.
Oh Owen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
De fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Owen is breathing heavily.
De flashes Owen a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Owen's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Owen crumples to the floor! He's out cold! De punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Donsone De!
A relieved looking Donsone De thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
