Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ed Driver (ranked 220 p4p, 28 weight class) and Kostya Tszyu (ranked 156 p4p, 19 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Tszyu's choice of entrance music: Till the End of Time. Kostya Tszyu has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tszyu throws a sloppy head kick and Driver moves out of range easily.

Tszyu has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tszyu will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Driver tries to bum rush Tszyu with a series of wild strikes but Tszyu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That was a close round but I would say that Ed Driver will probably get the nod.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tszyu lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Driver has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Driver and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Tszyu in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Ed Driver really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Project Mayhem logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
