The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams lands with a hook. Kicker tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Adams definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Adams tries to bum rush Kicker with a series of wild strikes but Kicker uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Adams fails to land with a series of punches.
Adams scores with a nice head shot.
Kicker moves forwards but Adams connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Adams misses with a double jab

and Kicker counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kicker.
Adams drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kicker pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kicker scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Adams throws a combination that misses

and Kicker counters by moving into the clinch.
Adams is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kicker pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Adams tries to pull guard but Kicker forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rielly Adams. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kicker manages to break the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kicker takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Kicker has closed the distance and engaged Adams in a clinch.

Kicker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kicker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Kicker gets the takedown into side control.

Adams sneaks out the side door and pushes Kicker away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Adams throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kicker throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Adams cracks Kicker with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Adams throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kicker.
Kicker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Kicker closes the distance and pushes Adams back into the cage.
Kicker controlling the action here for a moment.

Kicker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Adams lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kicker circles away quickly and effectively.
A jab from Adams finds it's way through Kicker's defenses.
Adams has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Kicker.

Kicker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rielly Adams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kicker shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Adams's guard.

Kicker lying in Adams's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Adams decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Kicker taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
