The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Hines.
Hines moves out of range as Frunze throws a body kick.
Frunze dips to his left and cracks Hines with an uppercut!
Frunze fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Frunze misses with the body kick
and Hines counters with a straight right hand.

Hines displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Frunze throws out the jab.

and Hines counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Frunze thinking.

Hines closes this distance looking for a takedown but Frunze circles away.
Hines moves out of range as Frunze throws a body kick.
Frunze swings for the body but Hines moves out of range.
A big right from Frunze misses.
Frunze avoids the body shot from Hines.
A telegraphed right hand from Frunze misses the target.
Hines lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Frunze misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hines.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hines! But no joy.
Frunze slips under a jab.
Frunze throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hines fails with a takedown attempt.

Frunze buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hines misses with a looping left.
Frunze walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hines checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Some bone on bone action there as Hines checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Hines walks forward, straight into a front kick from Frunze.
Frunze lands a nice shot to the body.
Frunze throws a push kick but Hines slaps the foot to one side.
Frunze lands with a nice body punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Good leg kick by Frunze there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Frunze counters with a big head kick but Hines shrugs it off.
Timur Frunze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of L Manning Hines.
Frunze stuns Hines with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Frunze throws an overhand right that lands on Hines's shoulder, as Hines tries to avoid the shot.
A little jabbing left from Hines on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Frunze stuffs the takedown.
Frunze throws a big counter combination but Hines scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Frunze misses the jab.
Frunze throws a shot from downtown. Hines moves away and avoids it.
Hines swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Frunze sizes up Hines with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hines is rocked!
Hines drops his hands momentarily. Frunze doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Hines staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Hines doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Timur Frunze!
